Whelan’s

Famous live music venue & bar

Whelan’s is not only one of the most important live music venues from the last 25 years, but also one of Ireland’s most famous pubs, favoured for its warm and lively atmosphere.

It first opened its doors in 1989 and since then, it has become a fully-fledged Dublin institution with live music and indie club nights seven days a week, and a Silent Disco every Monday through to Wednesday. Experience all that Whelan’s has to offer by escaping to one of the venues’ many nooks and crannies with a cool pint, where you’re sure to find like minded individuals discussing their favourite gigs and bands.

At the top of the venue you will find The Parlour, a 150 capacity room with private bar, terrace and toilets. Decorated with a vintage twist, The Parlour is the perfect spot to celebrate a special birthday, host a product launch or media event.
